When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number (if provided). Payment card details are collected directly by Stripe and are never stored on our systems. If you create an account, we also store your Google account email and display name for authentication purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to fulfil your order, communicate delivery updates, provide customer support, and prevent fraud. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We share personal information with the following third-party services as necessary to operate our store:

• Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe receives your name, email, billing address, and payment card details. Stripe may process data outside New Zealand.
• Google / Firebase — provides authentication (sign-in) and hosts our database. Your email, display name, and order details are stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located outside New Zealand.
• Addy — provides address autocomplete at checkout. Partial address text you type is sent to Addy to return matching New Zealand addresses. Addy is a New Zealand–based service.
• Shipping carrier — your name and delivery address are shared with our shipping carrier to deliver your order.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Overseas Data Storage

Some of the third-party services we use (Stripe, Google/Firebase) may store or process your data on servers located outside New Zealand. By using our website and placing an order, you acknowledge this. We take reasonable steps to ensure these services provide comparable privacy protections.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your shopping cart working and to manage your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption.

Data Retention

We retain your order information for as long as necessary to fulfil our legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to any legal requirements we must comply with.
